Is this the second breeder you linked or someone else? Some breeders never send the papers in because they don't actually have breeding rights, they have papers, but the papers were given with limited registration, meaning they should breed these dogs for various reasons. This is an example of someone stealing breeding rights, and this means she probably didn't do any health testing either. So if you look at the papers, make sure they had open registration, not limited.

I know what you mean about being scared, we went through a very hard time with a purebred Cairn Terrier, and it had a serious genetic problem. I was afraid to even get a purebred again until I learned some breeders take breeding very seriously. If this is a good breeder, she will want to hear about your experience.
