 Maggies makes me play too!
This is fairly new for her. She used to find random lost balls and stuff but lately I think she is doing it on purpose. She has the small kong brand tennis balls that squeak. I recently put an old ottoman in front of the living room window and opened the sheers so she can look out when I'm not home. When we are home we leave the door open and she lays in front of the storm door.
The ottoman is not tight against the window due to a heat vent. She kept taking her balls up there and dropping them down. She did it too many times to be an accident. They are not normally chew toys so I don't think she dropped it while chewing. Then she sits there and whines until I come get it. I think it is a total case of "come play with me".
Hubby didn't like it that she has now taken a place in the living room too! The family room floor is littered with chews and toys. It's like we have a 2 year old to pick up after again! At least she has NEVER chewed furniture or anything that wasn't hers. |
