Some dogs can tolerate and love RC. I've discovered that it isn't for Harley. If the loose stool continues, there are two things that could cause this (or an underlying medical condition in which case you need to consult a vet):
1- the corn. Some dogs cannot tolerate corn, or any grains at all.
2- the chicken and multiple meat products. *
*I only say this cause this is the reason Harley can't have it. my boy was on a food with multiple protiens in it for 2 years and all of a sudden started having problems. we eventually determined that it was a chicken and beef allergy. It used to be rare but more and more dogs have started developing allergies. I tried the medical by RC which has hydrolized chicken in it and it made him worse.
So while once I used to say that RC was not a good brand. I've learned that it's just not the right brand for my boy because of the ingredients.
All that stuff being said. If it's not broken don't fix it. If problems continue then check out the health and diet thread, they have lots of great premium brands that they recommend on there.
