I recently got one of these thinking I could put it by their crate so that Chip wouldn't bark in the morning - that is the only time he barks. If he hears ANY sound at all coming from upstairs, he'll start barking and won't stop until we go let him out. I wouldn't mind but if I get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night ...even at 4am... he thinks it's time to get up!
Anyways, I bought an ultrasonic machine and it worked the first night but now he just ignores it...he barks constantly from the first sound until we let him out.
