I always recommend checking out a YTCA breeder Yorkshire Terrier Club of America About The Club, call and talk with them. You have a very good chance of being able to get one from them, since you've had a Yorkie for 11 years, you've already proven you know what their care involves. Most YTCA breeders are breeding for the right reasons, and first and formost should be health, these breeders have been breeding for years and have studied what goes into making a good example of the breed. I bought Joey from a YTCA member and at 5 Joey is still a picture of health, and a real cutie too! Please don't buy over the internet. Breeders who sell over the internet do not have to have any inspections, no matter how many dogs they have. Some of the worst puppy mills are those that sell over the internet. People are aware that you shouldn't buy from a pet store, but at least the breeders who sell dogs to pet stores have to have their kennels inspected. If you're not aware of puppymills and how they abuse dogs, I suggest that you check out this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mis...g-graphic.html
