You can feed it alone or mix other fresh vegetables/meat with it. It is a "human grade" food and she likes it. We feed the "Force" after trying samples of them all. Since it's dehydrated very slowly, it doesn't loose the nutrients that others do because they are heated to such a high temp. Our vet was very impressed with the ingredients/preparation and totally encouraged feeding it to her!
