The thing my dog loved more than anything else when I worked outside the home was sitting on the little table by the window and watching for his family to come home. I don't think he spent the whole day there but I know when I was home he knew what time the kids should be home and would sit an look out the window for them for about a half hour before they got home. If possible get a table and maybe a step for your little one to get up on the table with. Ours was beside a couch that was by the window. At least they can watch the birds and squirrels. We lived back away from the road so people could not see him but he could see us heading up the driveway. |
