One of the most enduring (several generations) Toys that my Yorkies have enjoyed, is one that I (accidentally) came up with on my own.
I have a bad Back, and frequently make/extend Toys, where I can just sit, and have enough length where they can romp back and forth without me bending over. A couple of their/My favorites are a couple or Tube Sox tied together, and an elongated Raccoon type Toy, with Squeakers in both ends. HA, anyway, let me get to the point !

I got them a short Double Knotted plain Rope Toy, which they liked, and it was one of those weeks, where my back was worse than usual. I tied a Nylon Rope to it, and then tied the other end to a sturdy Table, hanging the Toy down within about 3-4" from the Floor. GEES, did that free up a lot of my time ! ! !

They pulled on it, trying to get it away from the Table, they did Body Slams against it, when passing by. And when it would slip out of their mouths, and swing around wildly, they would chase it with all their might, and that simple hanging Toy has lasted for over THREE years now !
