Ditto for me! I spent more money on products trying to get Morgan's cotton coat to lay nice, not mat, and look great when grown out. Waste of my money and time, and horrible for Morgan. She hated the twice a day brushing that she needed to keep her coat mat/tangle free. Once her hair got to an inch long on her body she would mat right up just by laying down. Now she is shaved down most of the time. I leave her legs longer because for some reason they don't mat up as much but I never let them go longer then 3inches. Right now Morgan has about half an inch on her body and 2 inches on her legs. Her hair is so soft and I love burying my face in her hair. hahaha

I planned on letting her coat grow long as well. I always wanted to as well. Never happened. LOL wasn't worth it to me to torture morgan for my vanity.
