Thank you all so much for the advice and encouragement! I always try to find out all I can about a breed whenever I rescue, and I can see I came to the right place for help and friendship!!! I've raised all kinds of prison babies, Bassett hounds, beagles, doxies, Poms, Labs,but never have a terrier. It's so amazing to me how each breed has it's own personality traits and egos. There are so many different ways they love you as well and vice versa. I've had people actually tell me IT'S ONLY A DOG, and call me a pushover, a softie, whatever! I don't care because when I stand before the CREATOR and he asks me what I did with my life to help others and take care of the gifts he gave me, I can at least say I did what I could to protect, love, and honor those gifts. For me, as I'm sure it's the same way for many of you, fancy houses, cars and clothes mean nothing, they pale by far in comparison to a living being that the LORD made, and to help them is to help ourselves, and show appreciation for ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL. I so look forward to learning more from all of you, and getting to know you and the sweet souls you love too! <3

I so agree with you. Humans will be held responsible for how they treated the creatures of the earth. You have a gift of a heart for animals. It is unfortunate that people like you and me and others have to take up the slack for the people who think of them as some dumb unfeeling animal. I thank God for those He has called to give their hearts to these suffering creatures.
