THANK YOU ALL SOOOOO MUCH!!!! I will go right now and watch these vids and check out all the products you have all suggested! I think your right FIDebra, I bathed him 2 times the first day as the smell was overwhelming! It may take me cutting his hair to get rid of the urine and feces that I just know soaked up into his coat!!! I was so heartbroken when I first saw him! I think I read somewhere here that a little coconut oil in his chow would help inside and out, so I'm going to try it and see. He seems to have the color and markings of YT and the hair on his head is silky and fine and is starting to turn a tan with some silver coming in. I parted the hair and it is tan down at the roots, but I know he is not AKC standard perfection,LOL. His body hair is thicker than the head and has a little wave to it, but I'm so confused about the different coat types. Wish I could find more pics on the net showing each so I would know which type he is. I will never be trying to show my little fur buddies, so I'm just fine with whatever color, coat, size he has. He's a sweetie and so smart! I potty trained him in a couple of days and now he even whines when he needs to go out. Not one accident in his crate which to me is amazing after having done it there for so long! Just goes to prove that given even the smallest attention and care, any dog can learn and be a wonderful family member! Thanks so much everyone, you are all so generous and kind!
