Hey guys! Well, I called and scheduled Katie Scarlett's first ever grooming today. We have an appointment for 3:30 next Monday. She is getting quite shaggy. Now, I want to let her top knot grow out some so I can put it up properly. I do not want it to grow too long though. I don't want it draping down her back or braided or anything like that. Although cute, I just don't want it that long. I also don't want to let her grow out to the floor length coat. Even though we groom 2-3 times per day, I don't want her hair that long. So, should I just get a puppy cut or what? I am not sure how to tell the groomer what I want. I don't want it really short, but I do want a little hair so she stays fluffy. Any help? Or any ideas on some haircuts I could do? I love the full length coat, but it's just not for us. I want something shorter, but not too short. I am already nervous about her grooming. I don't want them to shave her down really short, but not exactly sure how to tell them what I want. I think she'll do good with the grooming. She sits still really well for me now while we brush and is almost still during bathy time. I have tried to let her hear the buzz of clippers too. So I hope she will do ok. Any advice for a newbie and first grooming experience?
Thank you!!!!
