Thank you for your post...this was my reason for originally posting the option of surrendering to a "reputable" breed specific rescue group.

I can only speak from experience and I know my Phoebe would thank her Breeder over & over again for giving her that opportunity to find her Momma for life! Her foster mom spent 9 months diligently scrutinizing applicants just to find her right match and I am ever so thankful that I was blessed with her!
