This may be a little off thread, but why would a good breeder ever surrender one of their retired pups to a rescue? I would think they would take responsibility for their own animal and leave room at the rescue for those who really need it. IMHO, only a "greeder" would dump an animal once they were done with it.To the OP, she is such a pretty girl! Please keep us updated on your search for a home for her.

I would like to point out that sometime Breeders simply cannot find a perfect match for their retired breeders. Rescue is a great place to start because of their screening process. You can feel at ease knowing your dog will go to a perfect home. There are many Yorkies that live their entire life in a cage. Tell me, whats the difference! This Breeder came on to screen for a potential home, and she should be commended.
