No, I sure do not mind you asking-I am married (22 years). We did have three Shih Tzu & at one point they all slept with us! Now only the youngest does (10) as even the pet steps are too hard on our now oldest ST (12). Our ST Keesha normally sleeps down below my feet. Our Yorkie, Lexi, sleeps on her baby blanket on the outside of me so she isn't next to my husband (as she likes to try playing with my husband). I am not crazy about her sleeping there though as I fear her falling (have thought about getting a child's bed guard for our bed). I do basically sleep almost in the middle. I am so surprised that Lexi stays on the bed (as she has learned to use the doggie steps on her own) & for the most part leaves Keesha alone & has learned that the bed is for sleeping, not playing. FWIW, my husband was of the type to not have a pet sleeping in HIS bed but they all have wrapped him around their paws. My husband would fall asleep on the sofa with our dogs & after that it was easy to transition to the bed. So, there is still hope for your husband too.
