great question & i agree totally with the responses, i have 2 dogs one is not a yorkie & she has a thicker coat. i lower the heat during the day when @ work & @ night. I was just out today looking for a comfortable sweater that my oliver would be comfortable in. can't be too big or they get tangled, or pee on the bottom. again agree if u need a sweater or blanket so does a yorkie.
