I understand his wife needing to get out of the situation before it escalated to him harming her or killing the dog. The dog should have been removed and wife should've left but there were ways she could have done so without destroying his career. There are family advocacy groups on every base. Myself having been a Military Wife for 22 years and having volunteered with Family Advocacy, I can say I most certianly support what she did. So it was he who &*&* himself.
