Hey, just wondering if anyone has had TMJ orthodontics done recently, I'm in Canada, and well I saw an orthodontist and they quoted me $8400 for treatment
and absolutely none of it is covered by my insurance.
Just wondering if it's worth it or if they are scamming me.
I asked to see an itemized list of what this $8400 is, and she told me $200 for impressions, then $8200 for the braces and appointments :s that really didn't help much.
My tooth is causing me a lot of pain, plus my jaw is also causing problems. I'd like to have this fixed, but I'm applying to law school, and that is over half a year's tuition.
