He is still very weak. He will eat a small bite of his RX food every 30 min to an hour, but just isn't interested in water. The vet said the food is 70% water though, so as long as he will eat he should stay hydrated. I'm going to make some chicken broth here in a bit and see if that will interest him....He is so frail, and I can feel every bone in his little body....Day by day, he will get stronger. |
I'm sure he is very, very weak. You can give him some chicken broth by a dropper if you want to help him get some strength back quickly. It will also help his tummy feel better. All of the medications may have made his tummy a bit upset, too.
