i miss authentic mexican food. but what i got though far from tex mex was mixed with so much native american that it changed a little from pure mexican. it's good though. i love real sopapillas which no one in the midwest understands IS NOT a tortilla fried with cinnamon on it. it's actually it's own fry bread thank you very much and it's best with honey on it
i would kill for an authentic one. i'd also kill for a stone oven baked pie or cookie or bread from Taos Pueblo from the indian ladies.
