I love the sweet "fru-fru" drinks too! Classics like strawberry daiquiri or Planter's Punch are always my top choices. That's probably why I like the semi-sweet or sweet wines. I know the wine is supposed to compliment the food being served....but I seem to stick to the same kinds I know I like and rarely venture in the dry or more acidic varieties. I've hosted quite a few "wine wednesdays" where you invite friends over and everyone brings a bottle and we sample different wines. It's a great way to try lots of kinds without buying a whole bottle of each yourself...and you get to visit with friends
