Well I can't speak for YT, but I know that a customer of my breeder created a Facebook group with her name in it for us fans of her dogs, and eventually people from other breeders started joining the site, and it became a huge controversy and the breeder requested/demanded that her name not be associated with the group, simply because there were owners asking questions/complaining about health problems on the page/group and they weren't from her dogs, so she just didn't want to be associated with it (I don't blame her). The group has since evolved to a general small breed group which we can all be members of, and there is still a lot of arguing and bickering, we recently had to kick a member off who thought she was a know it all, and was making rude false accusations.
So that being said I don't blame breeders for not directly giving their information. Online information can be misleading at times, so keeping your reputation solid and avoiding misleading things is very important when running a business.
