BettyAnne, at first Romeo would only eat vegetables and fruits and walk away from meat. I was very worried because I know he needs protein so I consulted his vet who assured me his diet was fine and he's healthy. After maybe a year of what I would call a "vegetarian only" diet I introduced chicken to Romeo -- much to my surprise he ate it. He will eat meat now but most days he prefers veggies and fruits to meat. Like you I consult with his vet on his diet and I'm happy to say this is one healthy little boy!
