Then a basset hound attacked me while i was trying to pick up garbage that it had been eating, and the most recent was another stray cat.
In my life i would never guess a basset hound to be aggressive. It was a friends dog i was watching he tipped over the garbage can so i went to picked it up and wam he grabbed my arm and would not let go. I heard no growling or no warning from him it was all of a sudden.
All animals have killing capabilities they were once all predators and had to hunt for their food until man made them domestic. |
Sorry, but I respectfully don't think that basset or even the cat had the capability to kill you. But a pit can kill a grown man. Those animals are all examples of what I'm saying, an animal will bite for many reasons, because it's scared etc, and NEVER bother a dog when it's eating. It depends on the animal. Yorkies were created to kill rodents, not people. A pit has the capability and the means to kill a person. To me it's like letting people have a pet tiger.
