Some people have very strong feelings about certain dog foods. Myself I think what we feed our dog is important. I use a balanced kibble Royal Canin Yorkshire 28. But it is not the bulk of their diet. I cook for my dogs. They get 1/8 cup kibble at the evening meal. Breakfast is oatmeal, steamed egg, veggies, boiled skinned turkey, chicken,lamb, white fish, or venison. Once in a while I will do beef liver or lean pulled pork. Once a week they get a 1/2 teaspoon of honey and 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil which is drizzled over steamed brown rice. I also feed them low fat cheese parmesan, yogurt,and cottage cheese. Around 3pm my babies get a Kong stuffed loosely with veggies, fruit or frozen yogurt, pure peanutbutter and cereal. Or piece of homemade jerky.
