On another note, I tried again eggplant, which I previously thought I hated. Turns out I like the japanese eggplant and it was cooked in a miso marinade. I think the kind I didn't like last time was the big kind as it was kind of mushy.
I also tried kale today. Raw. Wow. That is one tough lettuce. I think if it were cooked it would be really good. But raw? Like chewing on plastic. Thick plastic. LOL |
no what's Persian cukes? i keep trying to expand my foodie horizons but i'm unfortunately way behind. i have too many years of traditional country cooking (think everything at a golden corral buffet)
