So sorry to hear of your loss........I do understand how hard it is. I lost my 16 year old pom a few months ago of CHF..........She had the cough.....vet tried fluid pills and they did nothing. She also had a heart murmer that had worsened over the years. He told me we could try other things but it probably wasn't going to help. She had started passing out. I could not stand for her to suffer anymore so decided to let her go. So very hard. My thoughts & prayers are with you................
