With Delta, you can opt to carry small dogs for parts of the test, so I'd call that easier. One part that was particularly helpful for us was "meeting a friendly stranger." We had to walk up to another dog/handler team in a calm fashion. But I was able to carry Jillie, so she wasn't tempted to sniff the other dog, a no-no.

But even "carried" dogs have to go to the floor for loose leash walking and a stay exercise. They are also petted and held by others.

So I'd say it's "easier" but not "easy."
