I aggree that it is not anyone elses business. I am happy you are buying from a breeder. Too bad that some people think they know how to run other peoples lives.
I have seen the other side too. At the Humane Society people complain about the adoption fees and Spay/Neuter they have to sign for when getting a young puppy. I have heard things like they ought to be free, and geeze they should be glad to find them a home. Why all the nosey questions ?
And when I had a litter of puppies, I had a person tell me, "I will wait a couple of weeks, then you won't be so picky about who buys your puppies and lower your prices." Needless to say She did not, and will not ever get a puppy from me !
