Even if a person could purchase meds otc for eyes, it is not a good idea to use them in an undiagnosed eye problem. A dog could go blind overnight.

As for the Benadryl.......ml is not a dosage. It is a volume amount and there are mg/ml that you use for dosing calculations. When dosing it would be mg/lb...not ml/lb Many people mix those up and it is dangerous. That is the reason I never give dosages to people because they don't understand the difference and a tiny pup could be overdosed.

When in doubt, it is always safer to tell someone to consult with a licensed professional.
