I live in Northern California; I suppose it depends on where you live. Where I live I haven't seen a yorkie advertised in the classifieds for less then $950 (Non-AKC) to $1,200+ registered male, $1,500+ registered female with & without health guarantees. I'm paying $1,800 for my little girl, which includes 1 year health guarantee and a care package. I contacted a few of my local breeders before I chose my breeder. They were selling anywhere from $2,500 - $4,000 AKC registered, including health guarantees.
