I use Heartgard plus, it takes care of all the worms you dogs would be exposed to. If you go to dog parks or just paths where other dogs have been, you might want to think about this. Some of the worms that dogs get, humans can get, for example, roundworms and hookworms, and if you're Yorkie is a licker and most are, you might want to have him on the full product.
