They need to be on puppy food until they are 1 year old. It has alot of vitamins and minerals the help them develop. As far as weight that varies, sorry no help there. My Gizmo is 6 mo and weighs 3 lbs.....and hasn't gain or grown since he was 3 1/2 - 4 mo. Good kuck hope some one can help you here !
