When I was searching for my yorkie puppy, I put an ad on Louisiana Classifieds. A man contacted me a day after I put the ad. I have caller I.D., so he was in my local area. He had a male yorkie, 1 year old, that he was giving away for free to a good home. He said him and his live in girlfriend work so much that they don't have any time to devote to him. And they said if I was interested, they would visit my home. Because they said they were not going to just let him go to any home. I discussed it with my mom, but she urged me to wait. Because we were really looking for a female and a puppy. So, we did wait and I am glad we did. It took 6 months of searching. But, I found my breeder on Louisiana Classifieds only 10 minutes away from my home. And she has the most perfect beautiful little girl waiting for me! If I would not have internet service, I probably would of never found my puppy. There has not been 1 listing for a yorkie at all in my local paper for about 6 months!
