Have you taken the pup to the vet to be scanned for a microchip? Put up "found" posters, or "found" announcements on Craigslist? Contacted local vets to see if anyone has reported a missing Yorkie?
Please think of this pup's owners, who may be worried SICK about their sweet boy, and try everything possible to find them. I would be missing my baby something awful, and would hate to think someone would "claim" him without ever bothering to try and find me. I know that even my spoiled, pampered, and well-cared-for boy would look dirty and scraggly after a day or two on the streets. So please find it in your heart to at least look for his owners. |

I'm going to say this gently so that you don't think I'm another "rude" person.
Please understand that a LOT of the people here are constantly doing what they can to reunite lost dogs with their owners & the profile pics are very very tiny so someone new coming on telling us they "found" a Yorkie raises a lot of red flags.
I'd like to add a few other things for you to think about too.
Maybe the knot you're feeling happened to the pup after it got away from it's owner?
My Yorkies start to look a bit "greasy" after about a week.
(Perhaps if you were to make an album we'd be better able to tell that the pup you have isn't the same as the one linked above. You'll find the "how to" here:
