Haha it's funny you WANT a soft coat :P so much harder to manage. But if you say her body already tangles easily it could be soft? The yorkies I've seen with shorter puppy coats that were silky wouldn't tangle unless they were constantly wearing clothing or just not brushed for a week. They should "stick together" that sounds like matting.

But it's hard to tell from that picture of her and since she's so young! If she developes a natural part down her back, then she's proooobably silky. I think silk coats are just BEAUTIFUL!
