We made vacation plans, reservations, paid in full to go to Mexico around Christmas in June. This was BEFORE we got Brutus. When I was thinking of taking him, I did think about our vacation and thought "I'll just board him, that's what everyone else does". Now that he's my baby, I just don't think I can do it. Ideas??? I am really thinking of having someone housesit so they can be with Brutus, but I know my husband won't like the idea of someone staying in our house. Another option would be having someone come over multiple times during the day. The only family I have around has a very old dog and 2 cats, so Brutus staying with them is not an option.
