I got married a little over a year ago and DREADED planning! My husband has a huge family(over 30 first cousins alone not to mention everyone else and friends) and I didn't want to have to plan such a big, expensive event. So I took the easy way out that also made our families happy. We had Cruise Ship Wedding!

It was SOOOO much easier. They take care of the venue, music, food, cake and even the flowers if you want.(I didn't, I purchased fake one that came out soo beautiful and for everything was only about 700 bucks) Best part is the cost, it was only about 2000 for the package then I believe 20 or 30 dollars per person (after the first 20 ppl) It is open bar and was amazing. This way we invited everyone, and A LOT of ppl could not make it but didn't feel so bad because they were invited..lol! Then after the wedding we sailed away to our honeymoon, it was AMAZING!! And all I had to worry about was my dress, flowers, rings, tuxs, bridesmaid/flowergirl stuff, invitaions and favors. Which sounds like a lot, but is a lot better than having to everything else for a land based wedding.

The best advice I can give is make sure to take time for yourself and TRY to enjoy the process, you only get one wedding and you don't want to look back and think of all the stress! Also remember things WILL go wrong!! You just have to roll with the puches and understand its not the end of the world, you are still marrying the man you love and thats the most important thing! And remember, its YOUR big day not your families so do what you want!! Good Luck!!
