I hope you will look for his owners in the near future. It does not take long for a Yorkie to start looking pretty ragged, greasy, and hungry. Someone might really be missing him.
I took in a stray pup, sort of like your story. But, I did put up posters, went to the animal shelter, had her scanned at my vet, called the police, put her on Craigslist and in the paper, all with no luck. I felt like I did everything I could, so when I decided to give her a forever home, there was no guilt.
