Brit - congratulations on your decision. You have chosen what I believe is one of the most important careers. I worked as a Media Center Parapro for 13 years and even though I've been gone for 4+ years, I rarely go out that some of my old students don't recognize me. Because they are growing up I don't get as many hugs
as I used to, but I usually get smiles and hello's.
It is so wonderful watching the YT youth grow up and head off into the "real" world. You know, I'm sure, that elementary education is one of the most rewarding and heart breaking profession on the face of earth. Good luck, sweetie -- I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers...
