Personally I think every dog is diffrent and what works for one may not work for another even if it is a "better" food. As long as we're not feeding Ol'Roy its all good |
Who cares if a vet gets a portion of the sale? Does that mean there is an automatic conflict of interest? I think the vet's first and foremost responsibility is to his/her patients -- and if that is in question then you have the wrong vet. It really is ok to change. My vet charges prices below the internet on heartworm, flea and tick, prescription foods, and the few other items that they stock and carry. Last I checked, my vet wasn't trying to sell me toys or clothing -- it isn't a boutique. It's a medical office with a few additional items carried for the convenience of the clients.
And, I have no problem with someone feeding Ol Roy food if that is what they can afford and that is what their dog does well on.
I'm just amazed at the # of judgmental bullies around here.
