Kiwi started sleeping with us in our bed when he was about 12-13 weeks, he would just cry and cry all night and it was killing us! So we took a chance and let him sleep with us and he never had an accident!
When we got Lola about a month ago, we had already decided we would try her in her pen area at first and see how she does, she cried for about a minute and then quieted down and went to sleep. She doesn't mind staying in her area at all, so when Kiwi passed, it left such an empty feeling at night and in our room my DH and I decided we are not going to allow Lola in our bed. We are going to keep it as "our" space and we will prob let Lola sleep on the floor when she gets older, but for now she is happy in her pen and that works for us
