I have two in floor length coats. I wash them once a week. I like Biogroom shampoo (protein lanolin) and conditioner (silk) or Chris Christensen Day to Day shampoo and conditioner. I use the Chris Christensen ice on ice detangler spray a couple of times a week.
It is a lot of work to keep them long. I comb them twice a day - I use a madan brush and follow with a steel comb. Also, don't brush a dirty coat or it will break.
