You have to realize the poor pup has been pulled from all he knows and now has a brand new environment and mom. Spending alot of time with them will help to alleviate the whining and crying. but you must not give in when its bed time. have the pup in a crate where he can see or hear you and know he is not alone but let him slep in there. play with them ALOT before bed so they tired out. as for teh food, ic ant help there as i got my pup at 3 months old and kept her on dry food. she eats ULTRA puppy kibble and i just wet it and mix in a little bit of dry health extension but she does not eat wet food right now.
