I don't have a yorkie puppy yet but I do have a bichon frise that I crate trained. I think each puppy needs their own crate. A crate is not only used for housebreaking but the crate is also serves as a den. Think of it as their own little safe haven. My furgirl places her toys in her crate, takes naps in her crate and actually goes in her crate when she doesn't want to be bothered with anyone. If you keep both yorkies in the same crate they wont have their own space. At their age and size two crates wont be too expensive. I would allow each pup to have their own space so they can have a little space and time apart when wanted. I am not an expert but my girl is 7 years old and still loves her crate when she wants. |
