I don't think its so much that people use the word, but that they seem to think "teacups" are better than "bigger" yorkies. Like, Tucker is 9 pounds and you should see the look on some people's faces when I say that. I mean come on, he's not a elephant. I also think it bothers people how some "breeders" use the term then charge big $$$ for them cause they're tinier. JMO, of course.
