It's not being judgemental, he asked for opinions, and to be honest, his story sounds like many that I hear when I look at dogs who have been dropped off by rescues.

And with regards to full of themselves, their best interests is for the dogs. How is that being full on oneself?

By the way, OP and previous poster, there's no such thing as a teacup...Sorry didn't mean to sound so full of myself.
