My pup can be registered -- but, I have decided not to do it. He will be neutered as soon as he's old enough - and won't be bred or shown. He is a pet!
I have always registered my other dogs with AKC -- but why? I get the papers, stuff them in a drawer, and then never look at them again.
I know my pup is a purebred - which is what I wanted - but he's a pet to me.
I really am only wasting my money to register him.
