I've also tried a a pad holder, but Kaji peed outside of it way too much. He never lifted his leg, but his aim is off. He aims better when he lifts his leg.

I've really wanted to try the system Uni uses. I think it's a litter tray with a disposable pad inside. It sounds nice because everything is contained. But I know if I tried, Kaji would not potty in there. Too confining with no room to roam and find the perfect potty place.
When Kaji lifts his leg, how high does he pee? I'm considering the option of a wall on the thing I'm designing, but have no idea how high it needs to be. Also I've seen those toilet things with a post in the middle, seeing you have a leg lifter, do you think he'd pee on that post, or just aim towards the back of it?
