Im so irritated right now. I tried to just let it go but I need to vent. I went to petsmart today with our new rescue boxer, Dixie (crazy by the way to go from walking Bentley and thinking HE pulls...haha). So, someone stops me and says how she looks so much like their boxer but smaller and younger. I just smiled and then she asked how old she is. I told her 11 months. And she says with a shocked face, "OH! Ours is only 6 months and is SO much bigger". As soon as she said it all I could do was think about how often I hear the opposite when I have Bentley. How much SMALLER their yorkie is than him and then they proceed to point out everything wrong with how he looks and how theirs is how they are supposed to be. Im just shocked that this kind of thing isnt just isolated with yorkies. For some reason I thought it was a yorkie thing. The way she said it was so rude. Like shes so much better than me because she has a big boxer. Who was a male by the way. Of course hes bigger! And she said it loud enough so everyone looked right at me. If Bentley was 7lbs and we walked somewhere people would do the exact same and say how big he is. Which they do anyways and hes only 4.5lbs! I dont know why this angered me so much. I think Im just tired of people acting this way. Does it really matter what size they are? Even if Bentley was 20lbs Id love him no less and he would still be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen

.He would just be a bigger yorkie. And if Dixie stays 40lbs instead of 70 shes still beautiful to us. She is no less special. They are all so much more than what breed they are. They are part of our families. Some people are just so rude. They wouldnt come up and say how big or small my children are or how their children are better looking than mine. I mean, seriously

! Im sorry if I sound ridiculous. It just really hit a nerve.
